Sources within the Palestinian resistance informed Al-Mayadeen channel that Hamas views the recent meetings in Rome as part of "Israeli" tactics to delay and gain more advantages.

Sources indicated that the Israeli Occupation is moving towards presenting a new proposal that undermines the past six months of negotiations, suggesting a lack of genuine interest in the negotiation process and a focus on intensifying criminal activities in Gaza.

Rome meetings made no progress, the sources said, adding that this came after the Israeli Occupation delegation introduced new conditions to complicate reaching an agreement.

Additionally, an official told the Hebrew channel "Kan" that there was no breakthrough during the Mossad chief's meeting with mediators in Rome.

According to the Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation, an official stated that the Rome meeting was merely a formality and did not advance the negotiations. Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu added a new condition, requiring the names of the living prisoners who will be released.
